Report: Ikea to pay $46 million to parents of toddler killed in tip-over incident
Netflix has a new documentary series called “Broken”. Episode three is titled “Deadly Dressers” and tackles the growing issue with imported furniture tipping onto children due to flimsy construction, environmental issues in other countries, and more.
John Bassett and Doug Bassett from Vaughan-Bassett are featured in the documentary as an example of a USA bedroom furniture manufacturer that still makes furniture in the United States and still makes furniture the right way. All Vaughan-Bassett furniture meets government tipping standards and passes all tests. Some of our competition cannot say the same thing.

“Broken – Deadly Dressers” is very informative and reinforces why Vaughan-Bassett takes pride in making a quality, sturdy USA product from genuine USA woods.
